History of the Caves

The caves are located along the Ambakutty Mala, an old commerce route that connected the hills of Mysore to the Malabar Coast. It’s possible the carvers were only passing by. Timings and Ticket Information:

This cave is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This is due to the fact that these caves are only visible till then. The caves are inaccessible to the general public on Mondays. The tickets are also reasonably priced. Adults pay 30 INR, while minors pay 20 INR (Below 12 years old)
